Fiber optic dome closure МВОТ-5120-44-144-4К36/3Т is designed to protect welding areas of FOC different parts and excess fiber loops from direct exposure to the environment and mechanical effects at −60 °C to +70 °C ambient temperatures.
Fiber optic closure МВОТ-5120 design allows to splice multiple cables together, and the expanded interior space allows to lay excess fiber chucks to the tray on the side opposite to the cassettes observing all tolerances.
Closure МВОТ-5120 is designed for use in fiber optic communication systems to install fiber optic communication cables laid underground, outdoors, including on building walls, in cable ducts, sewers, tunnels, cable inlet rooms and to hang cables on poles of overhead communication lines, power lines, contact network and railroad automatic interlocking.
FOC grommets are sealed with heat shrink tubes (included) or Svyazstroydetal (SSD) special cable grommets (e.g. set No. 4) selected depending on FOC design.
Round tubes at the closure head are originally sealed and have a tapered stepped shape with a smooth diameter transition, this allowing to cut the tube at a certain place and to select a hole as close as possible to the input FOC diameter.
All closure tubes also have own CLBE fastening devices.
The oval tube may be used to receive four Ø5 mm to Ø10 mm FOCs or excess fiber loops or, using a branching clip, two max. Ø28 mm FOCs.
In case of installation of the closure on supports or walls, we offer to purchase additionally a unique specially designed suspension bracket. The bracket design allows to remove the closure from the support and install it back without having to re-attach or use special tools and consumables like mounting band.
