It is widely used when building FTTx networks to arrange aerial optical fiber cables from closures or junction boxes.
It is suitable for climatic zones with −40 °C to +50 °C ambient temperatures.
With max. working load 0.5 kN, this product may be used at 40–50 m spans depending on the climatic zone.
A distinctive feature of this clamp is that under increased load (icing, falling branches on the cable, hurricane winds) the clamp breaks without damaging the FOC, preventing eventually line disruption.
