Bracket UPB is a cast aluminum alloy product with high mechanical characteristics. Its special shape was patented and developed to obtain a universal fastening device suitable for any cable fastening configuration at wooden, metal or reinforced concrete supports (poles)
Bracket UPB application
Following fastening options are possible:
- With bands
Bracket UPB is installed to all types of supports (poles) with or without holes using two 20 mm wide strapping bands (SB204/SB207) and two locks B20 (or two sleeves A20). On average, two one-meter long bands are needed per bracket. Band thickness selection depends on the required strength determined, in turn, by the tractive force applied to the bracket.
- With bolts
If a hole is at the support (pole) top (in wood and sometimes in reinforced concrete), the bracket UPB may be attached using a Ø14 or 16 mm passing through bolt. Then, the bolt length depends on the support (post) top diameter + 42 mm (bracket thickness).
